GOD STAR

You where so beautiful, you where so very special,I wish I was with you now,I wish I could save you somehow.

Lewis Brian Hopkins Jones (28 February 1942 – 3 July 1969), known as Brian Jones, was an English musician and a founding member of The Rolling Stones. He was originally the leader of the group, but Mick Jagger and Keith Richards soon overshadowed him, especially after they became a successful songwriting team. Jones developed a serious substance abuse problem over the years and his role in the band steadily diminished. He left the Rolling Stones in June 1969 to be replaced by guitarist Mick Taylor; Jones died less than a month later in his own swimming pool.At around midnight on the night of 2–3 July 1969, Jones was discovered motionless at the bottom of his swimming pool at Cotchford Farm.

Where were all your laughing friends? Where were they at the very end? They started to steal your glory, they never even told your story..

This is a story, a very special story

"one of my all time favorite still 96 tears by question mark and the mysterians.who would be accurate i think to describe as a pre punk classic. Even at age 10 I responded right away to that cheesy evil roller wrink organ. it laid out for me the possibility for darkness, in an other wise happy landscape radio of pop music. this was a very synister looking band. this is essentually a very angry song about revenge

Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s East of Hastings

Danny Boyle was a guest DJ for a radio station here in LA and picked some of his favorite songs. He picked out "East of Hastings" by God Speed You! Black Emperor. The moment I heard this song play in 28days later,it instantly became my favorite movie.
DJ: The next band we have is a tough one. I don't know how to describe them really, right?
DANNY BOYLE: I know this is a tough one. This is the only one I’ve picked that is in a film of mine. It is actually at the beginning of “28 Days Later” but it’s not on the soundtrack because they are a political group and they will not allow their songs to be used on soundtracks. In fact, I went to meet them in Newcastle-- they were on tour in Newcastle in the Northeast of England-- to persuade them to let us use this track in the film. They were such lovely guys. I think that they liked me, and saw I was genuine. So they agreed reluctantly to let us use it in the film. But they never allow it on any soundtracks and they’re not on iTunes or anything like that. They are the real definition of an indie collective. They are really wonderful guys. I love their music, across a lot of their albums they have done. But this is an extraordinary song called East of Hastings. We used it for the beginning sequence of “28 Days Later” when Cillian Murphy walks around deserted London on his own. I remember when we first put the piece of music to that opening-- it was before we shot any of the rest of the film. I’m usually very modest about what I’ve done, but I remember seeing that thinking 'that is good. I would go and watch that.’ This track is an extraordinary, wonderful track.

Oasis and The Beatles

C, A, G, E, D, F, E-minor, A-minor, references to fools on hills, Imagine-like intros, basin-head haircuts, constant adoration for John Lennon. All of these things, to mention a few, made Oasis the Beatles of the 90's. Liam and Noel Gallagher never hid the fact that they wanted to be in The Beatles, no, "be The Beatles". Their songs were peppered with Beatles references, their chord progressions identical in some songs, and their look was near-on the same. -http://www.babblog.com/Oct_05/101405_IW_Music.htm

The Beginning of Don't Look Back in Anger sounds like Imagine. Champagne Supernova, Sounds a lot like The Beatles song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Sing along with "I'd Like To Be,Under The Sea, In An Octopus's Garden..In The Shade", to Whatever,it fits perfect. Born On A Different Cloud, sounds just like Happiness Is A Warm Gun by the Beatles.

Oasis, are what Rock & Roll should be.
